Our Candidates


Robin Frith

Robin works in IT in Financial Services.  He welcomes the opportunity to work for the people of Appleton, to strengthen bonds across the town and to build an inclusive and economically vibrant Warrington. 

Married with two school-age sons, Robin is particularly interested in education policy and child welfare.


Denis Matthews

Denis was born in Warrington and is the fourth generation of his family to both live and work in the town. He owns and runs a sandwich bar, so understands the pressures facing small businesses at this difficult time.  An active community champion, Dennis will engage fully with local residents to bring improvements to the area.


Andrew Warnock-Smith

Prior to his retirement, Andy was the Regional Officer for the RMT trade union.  He has maintained his trade union activity with the TUC and campaigns on behalf of pensioners.

Andy is a Parish Councillor, supporting the community including as a volunteer in a food bank.  He is keen to engage with Appleton residents on the issues that concern them.
