An experienced local councillor, Maureen has secured many community grants to improve the area including for Bruche Park and Padgate Community Garden. Currently Mayor of Warrington, she has a long-standing commitment to supporting the interests of children with special needs and people with dementia. As Warrington’s Older People’s Champion, she has been busy during the pandemic contacting isolated and vulnerable elderly residents.
A Padgate resident for more than 30 years, Stephen has worked in the NHS and for USDAW, the shop-workers’ trade union. During the pandemic he has been a volunteer at the Parish Council emergency foodbank based at the Station House pub. He is a member of the New Cut Heritage and Ecology Trail group.
